March 3 -- Sydney Musings

Being in a big city like Sydney offers an unending set of choices. Every street is new and every view is a first. The streets in CBD were filled with people even on a Saturday. I'm not referring to the Quay area; I'm referring to the business district. It is very unlike SF where the Financial District is almost a ghost town on weekends. Maybe the CBD was busy because it was Mardi Gras weekend and the Gay/Les Parade was a major happening about to happen. I think it is more than that though. Sydney is just a vibrant place and the locals live here and play here. It's definitely exciting to us touristas.
